Org Committee approves Thursday calendar
The Senate Org committee has approved a calendar for Thursday set to begin at 11 a.m.
According to Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, the agenda will include:
- SB 116, which would move the state's fall primary up to August;
- AB 274, relating to railroad crossings;
- AB 319, dealing with memos of understanding between municipalities; and
- AB 69, which would implement the so-called “castle doctrine.”
Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, said it would also include any bills left over from today's session. The calendar was approved 3-2 along party lines.
